Mentorship
The new mentorship program provides lawyers with the opportunity to develop mutually beneficial relationships that support professional growth and development. By pairing new lawyers with accomplished attorneys, the program allows successful practitioners to impart their wisdom and offer guidance on navigating the legal field, skills for honing a successful practice and tips to enhance business development throughout one’s legal career.

Sections  
FJA sections exist to help members build relationships and share strategies and information in a connected community. The FJA sections include Appellate Practice, Workers' Compensation, Women's Caucus, and Young Lawyers.

Giving Back


Mock Trial Competition
The FJA Research and Education Foundation hosts the Honorable E. Earle Zehmer Memorial Mock Trial Competition each year. Coordinated by the FJA Young Lawyers’ Section members, this competition features bright teams of law students from throughout Florida competing for scholarships and bragging rights.

Law School Outreach
FJA members have the opportunity to engage the next generation of attorneys through our law school outreach program. The FJA facilitates these events at law schools around the state to raise awareness about the role FJA members play in protecting the civil justice system. These events also educate law students on the importance of networking, and gives them the opportunity to meet and speak with successful practicing personal injury attorneys.


Public Justice
Public Justice pursues high-impact lawsuits to combat social and economic injustice, protect the Earth’s sustainability, and challenge predatory corporate conduct and government abuses. FJA members receive exclusive Public Justice membership discounts.

End Distracted Driving
FJA members participate in public presentations across the state to spread awareness of important public safety issues to protect loved ones and save lives. These presentations are hosted in partnership with EndDistractedDriving.org.

Advocacy


Legislative Affairs
The Florida Justice Association is extremely active in the legislative and public opinion arenas. Through continuous contact with opinion leaders and the media, FJA strives to promote the positive work done by our members in protecting the safety of Florida's families.

Political Campaigns
The Florida Justice PAC is on the front lines every election season making sure pro-justice candidates are recruited and elected. The FJ PAC identifies these candidates and ensures they have the knowledge, resources, and tools they need to win.

Lobby Days
Throughout the legislative session and interim committee weeks, the FJA relies on the volunteer efforts of our members to meet with legislators to share clients' stories and educate on the civil justice issues that align with FJA's mission. All members are invited to attend - no experience is necessary.


Research & Education Foundation (REF)
The Florida Justice Association Research and Education Foundation (FJA REF) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization established by the Florida Justice Association to enhance and foster an understanding of the justice system and the role of each citizen in the system as an advocate for justice and fairness.
